This reference design, based on a shunt, measures continuous bidirectional currents of 100A on the high side, enabling applications like battery current monitoring, UPS current monitoring, telecom rectifier, and server PSU. It achieves high accuracy while using low-value shunt resistors to minimize power loss and reduce the shunt's size.
