This Timken RAK series cast iron pillow block bearing unit is composed of a cast iron housing equipped with two bolt holes for applications where mounting space is limited. Within the housing is a double rubber sealed single row ball bearing that has a wide, extended inner ring for increased support to the shaft and can accommodate additional lubrication. The bearing locks to the shaft with an eccentric (asymmetric) self-locking collar that is secured with a setscrew. The housing has a stainless steel grease fitting for lubricating the bearing unit.
