This is a #16 oval squeeze disher, model 47170, from Vollrath. It holds about 1.6 oz per portion. It’s designed for fast, consistent serving of soft foods. The bowl is oval-shaped, and the handle uses a squeeze-and-release mechanism. It’s made of durable stainless steel, built for heavy commercial use. It works for right- or left-handed operators and has an ergonomic grip for repetitive use. A key design feature is the extended blade, which prevents sticking and improves release. It’s not for frozen or hard foods. It performs best with mashed potatoes, rice, pasta salads, desserts, and similar soft items.
