Zerena wicker display basket with gray trim TheWickerStories

Oval display basket made of wicker in an elegant gray shade. Its low, wide shape makes products easy to reach, and the dense, even weave holds the shape firmly and looks attractive on the counter. The top rim is neatly finished. Inside there is a cotton lining with bows, decorated with delicate lace, which enhances the decorative appeal and protects the contents. Dimensions: 34x27 H:12/32 (cm).

Each basket is handmade from natural, seasoned wicker, making it lightweight, durable and fully biodegradable. It’s an eco-friendly alternative to plastic, ready for daily use in hospitality and retail. The product is made in the EU following Polish weaving traditions listed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Its surface is finished in a fashionable gray tone using safe, certified paints.

As a display basket for HORECA it works perfectly for bread: rolls, croissants or sliced loaves. The low wall encourages reaching in, and the lining keeps contents tidy and limits crumbs around the display. The neutral gray pairs well with counters and buffets in a variety of finishes.

In shop, bakery or café you’ll organise assortments on shelves and the counter; at home you can serve fruit, snacks and bread at the table. The lightweight, stable construction supports quick display changes. Unlike popular materials such as rattan, reed, cane, straw, water hyacinth or bamboo, our products are made from authentic Polish wicker – natural, durable and valued for exceptional quality and timeless character.
