Warmth starts from the base. At Zhik we are proud to say, that our baselayers stand out from the pack. Superthermal Hydrobase provides amazing moisture wicking properties that carry sweat away from the body fast to keep you dry, perfect for high activity sports.Superthermal Hydrobase is our proprietary base layer composite that combines polypropylene and polyester fibres to create a lightweight, warm and highly moisture wicking material. The fabric construction has been engineered to regulate body temperature by transferring moisture away from the skin during periods of high activity while also providing excellent thermal insulation in extremely cold conditions.HOW IT WORKS: The hydrophilic polyester and hydrophobic polypropylene fibres work together to suck moisture away from the skin to the outside of the garment. Moisture is wicked across the outer hydrophilic polyester fibres allowing it to evaporate easily while the inner hydrophobic polypropylene fibres keep the skin dry even after extended periods of high-sweat activity.RAPID MOISTURE WICKING: Active wicking transfers moisture away from the body to the outer face fast, so you stay dry FAST DRYING: Its high wicking grid tech properties means moisture evaporates fast and the garment dries quickly EXCELLENT THERMAL INSULATION: Means you stay warm in even the coldest climates BODY TEMPERATURE REGULATION: Its unique fabric construction regulates your temperature even during high periods of activity AUTOMATIC ODOUR CONTROL: Keeps nasty smells away during long use times HIGH STRETCH MATERIAL: XWR cuffs to prevent water ingress: Flatlock stitching to prevent chafing: High back in pant for additional waist coverage: GREAT FOR HIGH ACTIVITY: The perfect baselayer for any sport that demands high workloads
